for saleRev. Auction:rare Resorts Int'l anniv decanter

Resorts International, Atlantic City, anniversary ceramic whiskey decanter by Michter's .

¶ Beautiful earth-tone coloring and slot machine decor -- notice the "Seeburg" pay-off schedule, slot reel symbols, slot machine handle on the right, and pay-off coin tray w/ coins (or tokens). The bottle is in the shape of the iconic main Resorts building. I'm not sure of the date of issue; I've had mine for many years.
¶ Rare, excellent condition, about 9 x 7 x 3 inches, empty (no liquor).
¶ $90.00 plus actual postage. Be the first to claim it by email to me or a post here. A check, QuickPay ($1.50 discount via QuickPay) or PayPal accepted.
¶ Reverse auction -- Reverse auction means I will drop price on subsequent postings until sold, or I decide to keep this wonderful item.

I have always been impressed by these attractive ceramic decanters. I was disappointed when I learned that they are usually common and have low values, like many of the Jim Beam casino ones. However, I have always treasured this rare Michter's Whiskey Resorts International Casino decanter. For a while I thought I was the only person in the world who had one. For years I never saw another one. Then I noticed a few more, about one every other year. I was fortunate to pick up this one, which I am selling here. (My original one I'll keep in my personal collection forever.)

The front reads:
¶ top (cork cap): "Resorts" (embossed lettering)
¶ near the top: "Michter's Pot Still Sour Mash Whiskey, 86 Proof, 4/5 quart, Distilled and bottled by Michter's Jug House, Schaefferstown, Pa.
¶ center: "Seeburg" and pay-out chart.
¶ bottom in embossed lettering: "Resorts International Hotel Casino."

The base underneath reads in embossed lettering: "Michter's R.I.H.C. Decanter Series Number 1, 1978".

On the back is the tax stamp and some info about Resorts and Michter's -- read it in the second picture below.
