Here is the picture of the Banana Split I enjoyed at the Society Cafe inside the Encore Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last week. It has three iced chocolate bananas, 1 white, 1 milk and 1 dark chocolate all pierced with a wooden knobbed skewer. A trio of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream is placed in an almond tuile, a very thin crisp French cookie made from ground almonds that is lightly curved into the shape of an edible cup. All toped with a spiraling chocolate ribbon and a yummy silky chocolate sauce. This Las Vegas stop is a must for everyone that enjoys the consumption of a banana split.
