Chipco that is red, or to try and stop the bleeding of a red Chipco? Not that I have an answer for you, but if the later, then the loss of the red ink (from cleaning) will make the chip a bit duller, AND, you run the risk of putting the red ink into solution, which might stain the white or unprinted parts of the chip!

While I've not tried it, but it might help to keep the chip in a position to better air dry for awhile. Not sure how, but to keep the chip in a flip, airtite or stack of other chips probably does not promote drying of the ink.

Perhaps someone else here has some experience with this excess bleed of red ink.
