The game is different than in a casino.You play against the other players not the house.The house collects a .50c or $1 ante and you put up $5 for the Jackpot (used to pay for a pair or better) if you have a pair or better you then bet a $1 and the player with the high hand wins all the $1 bets.You are then payed for your pair or better with NCV (Jackpot) chips.Theres a second dealer at the table that cashes in the NCV for regular chips.It somehow gets around the law paying with the NCV.Hope this helps.Bill
