To all those who buys from regular antique shop, generally they price their merchandise 50% to 75%.
If you want to buy "dirt cheap" go to garage and yard sale. Be wary of pricey seller also.
In my 3 years in Las Vegas - I have seen maybe twice this kind of things - I pass most of the time - when a seller tells you and use the words such as "that's antique" means that crap, "that's collectibles" means "siete", "that's 30-40 years old" - walk away to the next house.
I used to go with two families in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey to an "open garage and yard auction" who owns several stalls/shops in different parts of south Jersey, they got good houses, nice cars, plenty of "money" regular vacations to England "antique yard sale"- yes they are still in business now.
The annual RoadShows - well sometimes you find a real bargain but most of the time you pay the price - depending what you buy.
