A "kosher" dill is not necessarily kosher, but ...

... rather a pickel (cucumber) made in the traditional (seasoning) NYC way.

If you want to taste some truly NYC, Jewish-style pickels... try Walmart's Great Value product. I have no idea how they do it or who does the packing for them, but you can not get any closer to a true NYC pickel than their product... and I've tried most packaged products. Usually, they're sold out as soon as they hit the shelves.

Of course it's all in an individuales' taste...
