I presume that when a false confession is beaten out of someone and then disproved 20 years too late that it still ok with you?
Thats why cases have to be dealt with on a one by one basis. You are trying to equate it to a floormans decision

Im sure you are aware that in the past 3 months your courts have quashed two death penalty sentences, albeit some two years too late. That represents a 5% error rate.

Anyway, Ive no intention to debate anything. I accept that it would be very difficult for any country who has or does not have the death penalty to switch. Same goes for those countries that permit carrying of firearms.
