If you can honestly read your post and dont see anything wrong in the way you asked it, then nothing I, nor anyone else on the board says can help.
Your post could have easily left out and comment about "Making it up" and just asked David for more information to which I am sure he would be happy to supply.
David is one of the most honest, sincere and generous people I have ever met, and there is nothing wrong with his post as he raises a very valid question about a chip that few people knew even existed.
If I were David, and saw your post and how you phrased it, I wouldnt reply to it either.
Once again, Just my humble opinion and this is my last post on this topic.
