Just like they tell us in all the advertisements: do you have over $15,000-20,000 in credit card debt? can't make your mortgage payments? owe the IRS over $100,000? They can help you avoid the consequences of your actions.... is there no pesonal accountabilty, responsibility any longer? I just wonder if ads like those contribute in any way to the attitude that our citizens have re: buying just a bit (or a lot) more than they can afford, gamble with their personal finances, thinking that there are ways to avoid the pain of bad decisions. Not being critical or judging those who take advantage of the various "deals/breaks" out there. Maybe they deserve them.
