If you mean receiving an email notice letting you know that someone has responded to your post... I was told that sometimes, depending on weather/climate conditions, the messages don't transmit that quickly. I've had email notices of responses to my posts arrive much later than what is noted on the post itself. At other times, they arrive quickly. It could be just the internet traffic at that particular time of day coupled with weather conditions.
If you meant that someone clicked on your email address in a post to send you a direct email, it could be the same reason - internet traffic.
One other factor is the Chipboard clock, which is several hours off at the moment...
