If you stop at the Cal Neva at North Lake Tahoe (Crystal Bay), ask them if they will give you a tour of the tunnels. (Or is the Cal Neva closed...??? )

There's a series of tunnels that run under the hotel, though several of them are closed off now. Originally used to store and transport liquor during prohibition, they were used in later years for things like transporting Frank Sinatra to Marilyn's bungalow....

If the Cal Neva is closed , go across the street to the Tahoe Biltmore for breakfast...yummy!

If the Cal Neva is closed, if you can get on the property take pictures of cabins #3 and #5 (I think) which were Frank and Marilyn's...and enjoy the spectacular view.

Always fun to go to Carson City and stop by the CC Nugget...a trip up to Virginia City will be fun....
