NCR, Hudson River Claims 2 More Aircraft...

... I saw on the news last night where another air crash over the Hudson claimed the lives of 9 people. It was a clear day and both aircraft were flying VFR (Visual Flight Rules) and failed to see each other. I believe the plane was the same type Kennedy went down in (Piper Saratoga/Lance) and the helicopter looked like a Robinson. Looks like this one is going to be pilot error but it’s still a terrible thing regardless of the cause.

The helicopter FBO has had 8 accidents in 12 years… that’s a very high accident rate.

My son is a commercial pilot and air crashes stand out to me. (He’s a good pilot, but Dads still worry)
