Just speaking from experience with no facts for back up. I have seen 100's of meals paid for with chips in the early 80's. And had paid myself using casino chips on several meals. You could buy meals with chips, but NOT tokens. Also they would take chips from other Nevada casino's. You could even cash in a chip from any Reno casino in Lake Tahoe. The buying chips from the cage issue had changed over the years, per the regulation compliance manager around the mid 90's. Notice how I am not using any casino or contact names. I know you have more experience then myself and it is not my intention to be having discussion about possible gaming law violations.
