They are charms, not riverboat chips...

Such chips were recarved from actual ivory gambling chips (possibly 5s, 25s, leaves, concentrics, whatever). Carving was probably done by a jeweler that took a set a actual gambling chips and made several bracelets to sell as jewelry. I don't know who would where such a braclet!

They were mounted into bezels and became the charms in a charm bracelet. Such chips were never anywhere near a riverboat or gambling saloon (unless in their former state).

Several such bracelets have surfaced in the last several years. It is obvious that all have come from the same source.

Since they have been recarved, some consider them to be fakes (fakes is not the right word).

From the looks of the chips in the scan, it appears that they were all from the same bracelet.
