I sat down to write a response to this email (See Below) but found myself utterly speechless as my fingers rested on the keyboard. I felt sorrow for this person who goes through life with no perception of humor or parody. It is people such as them that fight for the rest of us to walk on egg shells careful what is said as not to offend them.

I posted a comment as a spoof to the breaking news of Clinton’s success in the release of the two Asian journalists being held in North Korea. The post was seen as being offensive and threatening and an email was sent to the FBI in Florida. This person has wasted valuable resources of the FBI by making them waste the time of opening and reading his email (which I am sure was deleted by the time they read the first few words), time which could have been spent on legitimate business.

Public figures such as Clinton or Bush (and millions of others) are fair game for comedians, cartoonists, and others to poke fun at, it comes with the position and they all know it. Both Clinton and Bush contributed tons of humorous fodder for Jay Leno over the years, and it was funny to both Republicans and Democrats. Also, the fact that I used ‘Asian’ in my description, as did the news media my post was also seen as racist. Clearly the person complaining does not understand what real ‘racism’ is and is looking to skew a single word’s meaning to justify the hate they have towards the poster (me) and the ChipBoard.

This person claims to have been a member and finds the ChipBoard postings regularly offensive yet continues to return to read posts. If most people don’t like something they usually don’t go back for more.
I have given/sold/traded with this person and am shocked to learn they are so burdened with negativity. The only feeling I have over this matter is sadness for this person and people like him. When we can no longer laugh only sadness remains.
