This is a truly unique set of chips in a beautiful wood case. This set consists of a total of 100 chips: 40 white Hat and Cane from the 1980’ ; 20 green and 20 red Diecar chips from the 1970’ ; and, the much sought after, 20 blue Plain Mold from 1955. The book value of the H&C is between $4 and $19 each, the Diecar are between $7 and $14 each, and the Plain Mold are between $100 and $200 each. The books referred to, are the latest editions of The Chip Rack and Official US Casino Price Guide. All chips in this set are used, but in “slightly used+” condition.

On the lid of the beautifully crafted wood case is a brass plaque that states “Harrah*s Casino Hotel, Lake Tahoe” and on the inside is a foil sticker that reads “Harrah*s………..These roulette chips were used in actual play at Harrah’s Tahoe.”.

The reason for the “Rare” designation is because it is just that, Rare. I have been collecting Harrah’s memorabilia for more than 25 years and this is the only set of chips like this, that I have ever come across. This set could be yours for a ridiculously low price. If you do the math of the book prices above, this set is valued between $2,440 and $5,320. Add to this the uniqueness of the set and you have what I consider a real treasure.
