I got a couple of neat pieces at the club auction: An original oil supposedly that hung at the Golden Gate, and the #1 print of this year's club print (Holdem lady) by Carlos in a really nice frame done by Tiny Treasures (who always has a table at the convention). In response, I also had last year's print (showgirl) dressed up by Tiny Treasures in a matching frame. I figured those 3 would look really great in my poker room. Lastly, got a couple of these prints in standard frames to give as gifts. I had Chris at Tiny Treasures do the framing work, then ship all 5 pieces to me on the east coast (VA).

Today they arrived. The primary shipping box containing the 2 nice glass frames was totally trashed (open on one side, crush marks all around, foam peanuts leaking all around. Amazingly, the terrific packing/cushioning/wrapping job that Chris did on the frams/pics themselves protected the booty, and everything is hanging in my poker room in pristine condition ready for some pot limit Omaha tonight.
