In Response To: Does anyone wipe ... ()

I've seen some pretty appalling things pertaining to players and their chips. On at least three occasions I have seen a player drop chips into their drink, remove the chips from the drink, put the chip into their mouth and suck it "dry" and then finish the remainder of the drink.
UGGGGGGHHHHHHHH
When I see a chip accidentally dropped into a drink now, I actually ask the player to PLEASE do not drink the drink. I mean KEEEEEEEEEeEEERIST, the drinks are FREE, get another one.

Perhaps 4 years ago we had a player who had a pretty good night playing $2-5 NLH. He didn't cash out. He took the chips home and washed them.
SIGH
If he thought that they were his lucky chips, why would he wash the luck off of them?
If he just wanted clean chips......that would only work until he won his FIRST pot. At that point his clean chips would be mixed with other players dirty chips.
Of course he played again the next night.
The kicker is that although he washed the chips, he didn't get them very dry and every time he put chips onto the pot they were wet.
SIGH

It is not at all uncommon for a poker player to wipe down his section of the rail with a disinfecting wipe. In my opinion this is futile since they will be handling chips and the chips are far from sterile.

Like someone said about what made the remote sticky, with chips, you just don't WANT to know what's on them.
