I have walked up and down the strip many times. Generally, I walk in Las Vegas as my main form of transportation. The walk between PH and Caesars will not be a problem for you at all. Amount of time depends heavily on the amount of foot traffic at the time. The walk to the Palms, however, is a different story. I did it once, and it's not a pleasant walk at all. I believe you have to cross over at least one area without a walkway where cars are a real concern. Then, the walk over the overpass wasn't too great either. Basically, you then walk past the Gold Coast, to the Rio and cross the street. When I was done, I was glad I visited each casino but promised myself that I would take other transportation the next time I went. Once you make it to one, it's easy enough to walk among those three casinos.
