... been the NAPLES LITTLE CLUB. Believe me; I've tried everything I could think of thru the years and I seriosly doubt the club ever existed. I've had several conversations with townsfolk who were around back then and if there was any gambling they sure would have known about it. Some suggested that if there was such a club that it would have been down near the train station; and a few other suggestions that have never panned out. I found nothing. All we know for sure is that there were some mounted examples at USPC at the time Howdy took his pictures of the chips along with the lable affixed which reads: "NAPLES LITTLE CLUB, NAPLES, FLA. Ordered 11/3/23" and there is no shipping date. My final guess is that the venture never materialized... or, if it did, the chips were never shipped for some unknown reasons (within Naples). There's been talk that it was operational in a home on the beach... but nobody who I asked knew where. Too many hours have been spent (15-years) and I'm done looking... Good luck to whomever decides to search further...
