No, those planes weren't made for comfort.. designed in the late 30's it had small cables to control the flight surfaces, so you had to be careful when the air was choppy not to bonk your head up against those cables, or put your hand up there on them to stable yourself. One of these day's I'd like to get a flight in a WWII fighter plane. I think that the closest I'll get to that though is probably a T-6 Texan.
