Seeking counsel, a very distraught Abie goes to see Rabbi Kimmel.

"Rabbi Kimmel, something terrible is happening and I have to talk to you about it."

Inviting Abie to come inside, Rabbi Kimmel asked him, "What is wrong?"

Abie replied, "My wife is poisoning me!"

Rabbi Kimmel, very surprised by this, asks, "How can that be?"

Abie then pleads, "I'm telling you, Rabbi, I'm certain she's poisoning me, what should I do?"

Rabbi Kimmel then offers, "I tell you what... Let me talk to your wife. I will see what I can find out and then I will let you know."

A week later Rabbi Kimmel calls Abie and tells him, "Well, Abie, I spoke to your wife. As a matter of fact, I spoke to your wife on the phone for more than three hours. You want my advice, Abie?"

"Yes. Of course I do, Rabbi." said Abie.

Rabbi Kimmel replied, "Take the poison, Abie."
