I got my 1st Arrowhead Inn chips in 1996. The INN in an arrowhead chips and like everyone else assumed they were Saratoge Springs, NY illegals. Wrong!!!

In 1999 a club member sent me 3 colors of the JSB chips and a possible name to go with them, Joesph H Bauer, Cincinnati, OH. Being from that area, they stirred my curiosity and imagination. I called a few friends from the area that had been involved with the pre 1960 KY illegals. Those calls sent me on a year long oddesey that resulted in the 5 part Arrowhead Inn articles.

The articles appeared in 4 different magazines. I had a lot of fun and self satisfaction writing them.

I rekindled several old friendships while researching the articles.
Frank "Chin" Conforti, Screw Andrews nephew. Crap dealer, 1st job in gambling was at the Arrowhead. Chin's career took him from N KY to Caesars Palace, Aruba, Bahamas, ETC. Frank went on to the BIG crap table in the sky earlier this year.

Danny Nason, my friend and in reality there would have been no Arrowhead articles without him. N KY including Beverly Hills, Merchants Club, Yorkshire, Walk A Show, Sands, DI, Horseshoe, Landmark, Flamingo, Aruba casino manager. I took care of him the last 3 years of his life. I know he is still betting the outside and would never bet the chalk in any horse race, where ever he is. Rest Easy my friend.
Several others but this is getting too long,

Later in 1999, another club member sent me the 4th color of the JSB chip.

Later in 1999, I was contacted by Danny's cousin in FL, he had read the 1st 2 parts of the articles in a poker magazine. We met in Biloxi. He had the INN in an arrowhead chips and the Maltese cross roulette chips that his mother, Danny's aunt, had stored in an old train car, ever since the Arrowhead had closed in 1937. He had 3 of the black INN in an arrowhead chips. Not sure if any others have ever shown up, he gave me one.
His sister in Houston had another color of the Maltese cross chips for me. She had been using them for home poker chips for over 60 years.

I was gifted the two JSB colors below at the convention. They have been desired for quite some time. Fills a BIG hole.
Thank you friend.
Now, where the heck is that 7th and last color, brown, I need???????
