I prefer the oversize (crown-size) white cardboard holders for three reasons.

1. They allow ample space to record pertinent information on them.
2. They fit nicely in 12 pocket pages for easy viewing when housed in standard 3-ring binders (I use the "D" ring binders)
3. Because of 12 vs. 20 pocket pages, the pages are much lighter and not subject to pages tearing out of binders.
