Sometime after the article was written Blanchard emailed that he had attributed it.
This is the only scan I can find. It very well could have been the attributation. I can not explain the 2nd chip in the scan any other way. I blame it on old age!!
The arrowdie research went on for close to a year and 6 yers if you count to the time I was contacted by the Haines family. I should have kept better notes, I have 6 or 7 pages but still lacking in some asreas.
My research was done in Reno at the library, Reno Historical Society, Reno newspapers micro fish archives, NV State Historical Archives in Carson City. LV-UNLV Special Collections, Lied Museum, LV Public library, LV Historical Society and LV newspapers micro fish archives.
One further note.
A couple years after the article, the old Precision Inc building on Oakey Ave in LV came out for rental.
Delivered Arrow Chips and owned by HN Garrison.
Precision Inc.: Starting 1956 ending 1958
1) Stockmens Hotel
2) Stardust Tahoe
3) Boulder Club
4) Horseshoe Club, LV
I contacted the rental agent. He allowed me to tour the place. I looked in every nook and cranny including the the crawl space above the main floor. My hope was records. NADA!!
This is a fantastic chip, no doubt about that.
