At The Convention
In Response To: Re: Chips in lucite revisited ()

There was a dealer who showed me a chip that had been encased in lucite. A machinist friend had ground down the lucite so it was just a thin layer all around the chip. It was kind of odd in that it was nearly the same size as the real chip but looked like it had a couple of coats of urethane. I'm not sure how the chip board police will react to the altering of chips in lucite. The dealer mentioned that it was a way of physically including the chip within your collection.
