Here's the story that accompanied the email I got:
"Killed in action the week before, the body of Sergeant First Class John C. Beale was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City, Georgia, just south of Atlanta, on June 11, 2009 . The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough, Georgia. A notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the approximate time."
There has been a lot of talk locally that it's too bad that Michael Jackson's death received so much more attention than the deaths of our soldiers. This video shows what can happen when a community really comes together. It's too bad every US soldier killed in action doesn't receive this type of attention when they return home.
