I didnt know when I took this shot (March 29, 2009) it would be the last time I would see the Slot a Fun. I actually had more fun there than Circus Circus, even though I always knew they were one in the same, with different names.

It all makes sense though- as most tourists didnt know that Circus owned Slots, and many probably passed Slots a Fun by, thinking it was a small no-name place, but will likely stop in for a bit now that "Circus Circus" and its more well known name will extend all the way to the sidewalk with no parking lot to cross.

I wish I had picked up the $5 chip with the suits only (no dice) to go with my other $5. Oh well, I also wish I had walked out with the $100 Stardust the day it closed, too.
