I remember going to a pinball auction with a friend about 20 years ago. This was WELL before i started in the hobby and they brought one of the high denom Pyramid chips for auction. I knew nothing about chips at that point and was amazed that this $500 chip wouldn't even sell for $10 or $15 or whatever the opening bid was. Later when I learned about these chips, I understood why it didn't sell.
