This does a few things.
1) Creates a central repository for the chip collecting community to monitor and announce new chips/chip finds.
2) Allows Jay & Co. to have one "inbox" to go to and see what chips have been found.
3) Makes available a place (after appropriate time and research by Jay & Co.)for Jay to announce approximate valuations of new finds.
4) Delivers a relatively "real time" valuation of such chips, versus waiting a year or years for another TCR issue to come out.
Greg, I am speaking without consideration of the extensive effort and time required and apologize for this in advance. It just seems so much easier versus the current print-centric system, which unfortunately, due to all the elements needed/involved, only gets updated every two years or so at best.
Thoughts?
