Well, maybe that's the new place. Eddie Freed's wife was nuts. She murdered a girl he was seeing (July 2,1936) and got away with it. Then in November 1940 walked into the Talk of the Town in Peoria and shot him (he survived) while he was flirting with the club's dancer. I'm working on a story about it and was hoping to pin down the club's location.
