I was with Sophir Morris which was a regional paint company based out of Omaha. We had stores in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Colorado. I was a store manager for many years and then ran the POS Computer System and also did training - You wear a lot of hats in a medium sized company. I used to travel quite a bit to Kansas City and Denver on a regular business.

Sophir Morris sold out to Kwal Paint in 2002 and I did not want to transfer to Denver. I opted on making my part time fun job at the casino a full time job and gave up the paint business. The casino business is fun, but I do miss working for a smaller company where you can make decisions without having to have a ton of meetings.

You do get what you pay for in Paint. Quality does last longer.
