My comment was mostly on chips with a broad collector base, Archie. The Las Vegas chips are much more susceptible to collector fraud than Atlantic City, in my opinion.

Also, the "number of chips known" is somewhat dependent on how skillful the counterfeiter is in moving his product into the hobby [g].
