There were some posts earlier on this chip. I bought it in the Club Convention auction last week. I'm showing a scan which has been lightened enough that you can see the No Cash Value marking at the bottom. I can't imagine why a casino would mark it NCV, and them make it nearly impossible to read. This chip is used, so it probably saw play at the Dunes (or in some home poker game).

There's a little story to my bid at the auction for this chip. Last year at Doug's auction at The Las Vegas Club, I bought a chip he had on consigment for over $400 (not in the auction). When I got home, I could NOT find the chip, although I seem to remember putting it in a "safe place" when I checked out of my room at the Riviera. It hasn't shown up yet [g].

I decided I needed to replace it and turned out this one was cheaper than the first!

By the way, this chip is in James' new book. Interestly, there is also one listed above it that has 6 lime/ 3 light grey inserts and is R10. Has anyone seen this version?

It's been 20 years since the Dunes closed, and everyone knows about the availability of ALL of the last issue chips. I'm hoping these weren't hiding somewhere in the drums of chips that were sold by the lawyers, but I've only seen three of them.
