I was working in Ankara, Turkey in 1986. They did open some casinos but no table games - just slots. I did save a few of the slot tokens - about the size of a quarter. I think the bigger casinos were generally in the cities that catered to the tourist like Istanbul. A friend picked this chip up for me about a year later in Marmara. John Chamberlain used to have a bunch of the Turkish chips but may have gotten rid of them?
