I don't believe that the chips ever saw the light of day, let alone have ever been played with. I think that EVERY chip was perfect -- deep carving, full brilliant color, no cracks and nerve holes.

I must have picked up at least 20, maybe 30 chips about a year ago (the 4 shown are all that remains of my dupes). I believe we tried to buy the remaining 650+ chips. Obviously it was to no avail. I don't even believe that the winning bidder was an ivory collector. Probably just someone that wanted to add a decorative, trophy element to his mansion, yacht or jet.

I assume that the 653 chips are off the market for the foreseeable future. I do not expect to see ANY of those chips for sale.
