Read some of the comments in this thread and you will see "the spirit of this great club" in "some" of our members statements.

If I thought me taking the blame would have kept this thread off the BB, I would have taken the blame after the 1st post.

There is no blame. A mistake happened due to the circumstances of the way it came down. It had to be fixed and it was fixed, the only way it could have been fixed.

If the SP reads this thread and some of the comments in it, there won't be a poker tourney next year and I would not blame them.

Private tourneys are especially difficult to get approved.
Three SP team members went way above and beyond behind the scenes to make this tourney happen.
