the tournament organizers. I have never organized a tournament other than home games and I thank the volunteers that do it. This is no small task and as was said earlier, a mistake was made and it was found out and dealt with before any cash payout was involved. I am sure that some simple prevention measures will be in place next year like: landyards worn, membership cards on table, etc. One thing that I noticed this year was the Banquet tickets, a very cool card, had the table & seat assignments on them. I would think that a simular system could be used for the tourney and I also was under the impression that the tourney registration had to be done as part of the pre-registration process and like the banquet, the tournament registration was closed if you did not sign up at that time? I am confident that it will not happen again.
So I landed in Vegas and got my rental about noon on Tuesday and headed straight for the SPLASH BAR and found Brian, Shoop, Bob Ormsby, and my buddy Kurt all belly up to the bar and collected my Shoopon! I had more fun this year and met more people than any other year. Only 358+- days until the next Slash Bar! WooooHoooo
