in my name, as well in the name of my wife & daughter. Now, over three hundred tickets were purchased and put into a "raffle drum". Belinda Hixon cranked the raffle drum & drew the names and the very first name picked was -- my daughter, Sarah!!

VERY FIRST NAME!! But no, the story doesn't end there -- when asked that night if she wanted to keep the prizes, Sarah said to re-raffle it off the next morning. So Thursday morning, Belinda spins the drum and pulls a name for that morning's first winner. With her eyes as big as saucers and a smile a mile wide, she hands me the name -- Laurie Bedo (my wife). Of course, I decline to announce (or accept). Story over??...not quite!!

Belinda spins the drum again, reaches in for the second attempt at Thursday's first winner and just starts laughing as she shows me the ticket -- Sarah Bedo!!

(Once again, the prize was declined & not announced...I'm no fool!!

)
I hope that we can do it again next year and I hope that everyone is (or will be when they receive them) happy with their winnings.
