This box is made out of real wood. The top of the box has beautiful inlay. This appears to be bakelite. Has a lock opening with the key missing. The chips are likely bakelite.

The set has the following colored chips with the letter "J"

30 brown
30 red
30 mustard
20 orange
20 cream
20 blue

Not sure what the history would be or who is the orginal owner.
