If you take the picture from a 45 degree angle you will not be in the picture so light it from the front [maybe with sunlight] and stand off at 45 degrees. Another trick,if it is a small object, is to take an embrodry hoop and make a ring out of rice paper and light it from 2 sides and shoot from the top. Email me if you are still having trouble
