I have purchased 3 Garmins so far. All of them were reconditioned. I just got one for my car - a Nuvi 750 for $175 delivered. That is about 1/3 of the retail price and it is great. A word about Garmins service also - I had several problems with the window attachemnt and they sent me not one but 3 free. My biggest problem is that the maps never seem to be even close to up to date but those are generated by another company for all of the GPS manufacturers.
