You certainly hit it right on the head, Alex... we definitely underestimated the time and effort that this ultimately involved. I'm happy, though, that we took on the project and became part of the evolution of an important reference for the hobby.

As for an electronic version, David and I have been discussing this non-stop for way longer than we've been the authors. There has to be some way to deal with the security concerns, but the good part is that we've kept the pricing down to the point that it would be more expensive to print out a pirated copy than to just buy a new legitimate one. Not that ANYONE in this hobby would make an unauthorized copy of someone else's intellectual property.

I hope that the book keeps on evolving... maybe next year we'll even come up with a fancy new cover!
