... which also encompasses most of the hard-core chip collecting community. Most others are simply on board for the convention and not much more... and could care less for what the club stands for and its goals... We've got a good leadership and those who really cared enough to vote remain our backbone. The cost of a 42-cent stamp or the time involved to affix it to an envelope and execute a ballot is nothing compared to sitting in front of a computer for hours a day studying eBay or building shipping packages.
Bottom line: The interest/involvement is not there and if only to show support, there should have been a much bigger turnout.... but when it comes time to piss and moan, it'll most likely be those who do not vote...
