Paycheck Party Machine tokens are gone!...

Boyd Gaming's Coast Casinos have adopted a newer, electronic version of their Paycheck Party Machine and have pulled their aluminum token operated slot machines from play. While I am not certain that this is the case for the Gold Coast or the Suncoast, but it is for sure for The Orleans. (I do not know if Sam's Town ever participated in the same program.)

This is how the new system works...

In order to cash a payroll check you must have a players club card (Club Coast). When you cash a payroll check, instead of getting a token for the Paycheck Party Machine, the "system" registers you for a free play. Just visit any of the player rewards kiosks and swipe your card and it tells you what you've won. Most people get the Free Drink/$1 Match Play coupon, but every once in a Blue Moon there is a $250,000 winner!

Anyway, the machines are gone and so are the tokens!

This scan depicts what was once all of the "Coast Casinos" Paycheck Party Machine tokens. However, since the South Coast was acquired by Michael Gaughan and they did not drop the program or change the tokens, the "South Coast" tokens are still in-use at the SouthPoint.
