22 hours...25 years ago

Lived in London Ontario and took a 2 hour train trip to a game in Toronto.Started playing at 6:00 in the evening and did not finish until 4:00 the next afternoon and then a train home and was in bed by 9:00 pm the next night. Not a big deal these days BUT...won about $2600 playing all kinds of dealer choice games but finally got involved in a great high/low guts game, where you had to match the pot if you went in and lost. INSANITY!! $2600 went a long way25 years ago. Got home from the night/day and my girlfriend was laying on the couch reading. She asked how it went and I took all of the money out of my pockets and threw it all over her like a shower. THOSE WERE THE DAYS MY FRIEND!!!...*rofl*
I still pull off 16 hours at a shot occasionally but it is harder on the old body.
