I am putting together plans to go to the Breeders Cup at Santa Anita in November. It is going to be me and 3 buddies. I was hoping someone who knows the area could enlighten me. I see that Santa Anita is in Acadia. I don't want to stay right by the track. I'd like to rent a car, and stay in a nice location (town), but within resonable striking distance of the track and the better area poker rooms. Does not have to be 4-star, but I do like to be comfortable.

Never been any further west then Nevada, all the intel I can gather would be very helpful!
