Rich, the more I think about this I can't remember if she said it was a gambling ship on which her mother's band played. I may have assumed the gambling ship rather than the luxury liner. It must be from the Italian Luxury ship REX that was sunk by the RAF in 1944. It is probably more valuable coming from the luxury ship than the gambling ship. I will dig to see if I can find her name and address and will follow up with her if I find it. I know she lives some where near Encino, Ca because that is where she delivered it to me when I was visiting Patty Smith as we were working on our book.
