I was lucky enough to be caller #9 on a local radio show and won two tickets to this fight.
I know Bob is a avid boxing fan and I am sure he remembers this fight. The place went nuts!! It was unbelievable and I still get goose bumps thinking about being there.
On May 7, 2007, exactly two years to the day after his first fight with Castillo, Diego "Chico" Corrales was killed in a three-vehicle accident near his Las Vegas home. I copied that from wikipedia.
Here is a link to the 10th round of the fight. The whole fight was epic but the 10th was the topper. Chico is in the White Trunks.
