The 's BoD has been working with Todd Barrett and a couple of other great club members trying to secure some coupons in hopes of adding a little extra value to your membership. We got a bit of a late start & the current economic climate didn't help, but we did get a few. In the next issue of the CCTN, there will be a four-coupon insert that will feature a $10 free slot play from the Palms (good only during the convention), a $10 matchplay from Ellis Island, a Two-for-One or 50% off one entree at Ellis Island (both Ellis Island coupons are good through the end of the year) and a discount coupon for CT Rodgers booth at the convention...these four come with the CCTN.

For convention-goers, along with your pre-registration packet you will find another insert featuring three more coupons -- $10 off any cocktail at any The "M" Resort bar (during the convention period), a "Stay One Night, Second Night Free" from the South Point (specific dates) and a discount coupon from Spinettis Gaming Supplies. The back of the Spinettis coupon has details for a raffle of a framed 12 chip set of Dunes house chips...pretty cool.

We ask that if you are attending the convention that you please use these coupons. The casinos (Palms, Ellis Island, South Point & The "M" Resort) will base their participation next year by the response & use this year. And the discounts offered by club members CT Rodgers & Mike Spinetti are really a great deal...please visit CT at the convention & make a trip to Spinettis. Although it may not seem like many coupons, there was a lot of work involved in getting these seven. Next year, we'll start a little earlier & try to get some others involved to make this an even greater plus to club membership.

In closing, I'd really like to thank Todd Barrett...wait 'til you see these coupons -- they are a work of art, something that impressed even the casino people. And through all of the changes & nit-picking, Todd answered the call -- even while moving into his new home.
